Yes, they only grow about five feet tall so they fruit ever fall!
You’ve inspired me to go to the Arboretum sometime this fall. I’ve lived here 25 years and have never been! Too bad we missed that Sparkcon festival! I never seem to hear about these things early enough.
Is Musa velutina hardy for you? I’ve tried it in Washington, DC and it didn’t survive; I do love it and may try it again, maybe give it a bit more mulch next time!
It is very hard here! We have very warm winters here and they bloom every Fall.
