Witch Hazel ‘Jelena’

One of my favourite winter flowering plants is Witch Hazel. A few cultivars are very fragrant. My favourite is a cooper-flowered variety known as Jelena. It has a low spreading habit of about 6 feet tall but 8 feet wide.  A beautiful Winter plant.

Lily has settled in. She thinks she owns the house now but I do miss Gus a bit.

She, of course, is a cat and does not listen to anything I say….
