Sweet autumn clematis (Clematis terniflora)….. yes, It is aggressive…. This is one plant and it is cut back to about two feet long after the blooms fade. It grows slowly all winter then in the spring takes off! Begins blooming near the end of August with very fragrant but small flowers.
