Over the past couple years, there has been an increase in armadillo sightings across the Carolinas, and officials with the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission says it’s due to climate change.

  1. Interesting. Armadillos made it up here in the early 1900s. They are on the move. I have them in my yard and they like to dig in my woods and beds. The babies are cute.

  2. I have not seen any evidence of them here in the Raleigh or Piedmont area… yet!
