Yesterday it was 79F. Today it is 54F. Therefore, I am not doing anything in the garden. But so many plants have begun to grow I had to share some pictures. I can’t believe we may have snow by Monday!
The Japanese Snowball bushes (Viburnum plicatum) are leafing out and have flower buds, too!
There is a German Iris blooming. This dark purple iris came originally from my mother’s garden in Morehead City.
And the oakleaf hydrangeas are leafing out, too!
I also found this new variety of Forsythia called ‘Magical’. The flowers are very large!
