The horses of Carrot Island across from the Beaufort Waterfront

The is an island across from the Beaufort, NC waterfront where horses live free. It’s a rather large island so they are not always on the Beaufort waterfront side of the island.

Trip to the coast of North Carolina

A weekend trip to visit family in Morehead City. Sago cycad and amaryllis are looking well!
An Eurasian collard dove cooing- they became established in Florida during the 1970s and have now spread throughout North America
Broiled bluefish for lunch.
