Huge old oaks are beautiful but as they age and fall apart they make a mess to clean up and can be dangerous. This old, large oak on NCSU split and fell this morning after heavy rains.

   A big pine fell a few years ago and cut a friend’s garage in half and crushed everything inside. I hope nothing was damaged by the oak.

     Lucky it fell in a roadway with no parking….. but would love to salvage it and have wood planks made for a new kitchen floor!!❤️

       I wouldn’t hurt to ask but they’ll probably just dump it in your yard and disappear. That’s what they’d do here.
