There are some species which even have rest color and breeders have developed these characteristics.

How do you winter over your banana plant?

They are root hardy here so they come back but most years only the tops freeze so older trunks will often bloom and fruit.

Lovely photos. I love that white ginger. So pretty. I have a yellow one here, but it hasn’t flowered this year. Must investigate what I’m doing wrong. Thanks for sharing.
