As I walk around Downtown Raleigh and North Hills I see many things to inspire some Spring projects.
I love these low planters at NorthHills Shopping Center.
I also like the combo of wood and concrete on an angle. We see this often on the coast and most buildings are cheaply made for tourist and Northerners. I would like a short fence or screen along the patio inspired by this shape.
On my way back Downtown I stopped at Logan’s Garden Center and ran into the resident cats.
Back at the garden, Carolina Jasmine is blooming.
And back to the Art District around Moore Square for First Friday gallery crawl and the Morning Times Market on Hargett Street.
Saturday there was the plant sale at JC Raulston Arboretum. I left my wallet in the car… On purpose!
I rewarded my self control with a Chai Fusion latte at Cup A Joe!
I like that planter too.

I’m fairly new to your blog, Arthur, and I’m enjoying it. Do you have lawn to mow, or is your yard “all garden” with natural landscaping? Thank you!
